Tournaments: COVI 2003 Posted on Sunday, June 01 @ 19:57:07 EDT by rhi GLEN SHIELDS KLEINBURG-NOBLETON SOCCER CLUB VAUGHAN SOCCER CLUB CITY OF VAUGHAN INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT MAY 31 - JUNE 1, 2003 The COVI celebrated its 10th anniversary this year as the tournament saw 185 teams compete in 20 divisions. COVI is a regional qualifier for the Super Clubs North American Championships held in Orlando, Florida in July. The two top teams in each COVI division win a berth in the Super Clubs competition. Thanks to Marta De Lorenza, Vince Tersigni, Claudio Tersigni, Pino Furfaro, Cindy Furfaro, Danny Pellegrini, Vince Marchese, Franca Collu-Marchese, Wilma Cromwell, Lucy Furfaro, Ida Da Silva and all the other great volunteers who helped organize the 10th annual COVI.
